I've chosen this scanner after reading various books and info on how to have an office paperless, and I'm really not disappointed. This scanner is very fast, scans duplex in one pass and very quickly. Although this is not its first use, it scans super well the photos also. I had read in various places that it was the top scanners for documents (in this price range) and quite frankly I agree. in recommending strongly even for family use. The price is forgotten, the quality remains. When has Amazon, very good packaging, delivery on time, good price, as each time I started with them. I'm happy for the price, BUT be CAREFUL the printer can only accept A4 size while the other sheet size are not accept (A5, A6, A7, etc...) I am glad when it comes to print in A4 format, very fast. The quality of print is still very good. after trying another brand, I bought now always use these cartridges for my printer. After a small week of testing I must say that I am very satisfied with this product. This is a great printer for an extra one-time use/family. The quality of the prints is quite good for the price and the scan is a great substitute for my Canon Lide 25... Everything is compact. It comes with ink cartridges but need the installation of the driver on the website of Canon, and software Scan Gear and Canon IJ Scan Utility (no CD drive on the MBP...) It's a big machine compared to my old but valiant Canon MP610, the production is certainly more lightweight (savings requirement) but finished well. The mobile application would require an updated aesthetic but it does the job. the photos on the computer is good, but in an album, it's better! Printer connected to home with a use personal + small business. All devices connected to the network can print. 2 android Tablets, 2 pc's (ubuntu studio and lubuntu), 1 pc running win 7. The copy function is very useful and easy to use. The scans on linux and windows-quality sound.
